+ My Favorites Jul 17 Visitors are invited to celebrate Parks Day while learning about the former curator of the Banff Park Museum, Norman B. Sanson. A Parks Canada interpreter takes participants on a walk up the mountain while telling tales about the amateur naturalist and local legend. Hike begins at 9.30am and is approximately 5.5 km (3.4 mi) in length, after which participants can enjoy a soak in the Banff Upper Hot Springs. Prior registration suggested.
