Banff
National Park and the surrounding area provides some very good angling
in some of the most pristine fishing country in the world. Banff National Park covers 6,641 square kilometers
and has four major rivers, an uncounted number of tributary streams, and 486
lakes. This diversity of waters provides a challenge for any style of angler.
For hikers, a large number of trails lead to some fine fishing. Horseback
parties can explore the really remote areas of the park and also benefit from
angling opportunities. (continue...)
