An impressive array of amenities are featured at Spring Creek including picnic tables, laundry facilities, fire pits, water stations, pay phones and wireless Internet access. No tents allowed
Open: late May to mid-September. This pretty lakeside campground features 74 first-come, first-served campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Two washroom buildings are located at the campground, offering hot and cold running water, flush toilets and showers. Tents and RVs are welcome. The campground is on the Lake Minnewanka Loop Road, 12 km from downtown Banff.
Open: May to October. This 320-site campground is just 5 km of downtown Banff. Reservations are accepted for some sites, others are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Showers and flush toilets are located on site. The campground is suitable for tents and RVs.
Open: early June to early September. Campsites at this small, scenic wooded campground are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A washroom with hot and cold running water and flush toilets (no showers) is located on site. Campsites are suitable for tents and RVs. The Castle Mountain campground is located on the Bow Valley Parkway, 34 km from Banff. A small store, gas bar and restaurant are located close by.
Open: May to October. This large campground has 618 unserviced campsites, most with fire pits, for tenting, trailers and RVs. Washroom buildings with hot and cold running water, flush toilets and showers are located throughout the campground. Reservations are accepted. Some sites are available first-come, first-served. The campground is 8 km from downtown Banff.
This 188-site campground is open year round. All sites feature electrical hook-ups. Reservations are accepted and some sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Washrooms and showers are located on site. The tenting area is walk-in only. The campground is located 5 km from downtown Banff.
Open from the beginning of June until mid-September, the Johnston Canyon campground is a lovely place to call home when enjoying the many activities that the Canadian Rockies offer. Just 35 minutes from Lake Louise and 20 minutes from Banff, this campground offers showers, fire pits and much more.

Sites are suitable for both tents and RVs/motorhomes. Washrooms with hot and cold running water and flush toilets (but no showers) are located throughout the campground. The campground is located on the Lake Minnewanka Loop Road, approximately 5 minutes from Two Jack Lake and 12 km from downtown Banff.
