Located just off the Bow Valley Parkway (Highway 1A) just 35 minutes from Lake Louise and 20 minutes from Banff, the restaurant at Johnston Canyon Resort offers breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in the summer season which runs from May 19th through October. At breakfast items like omelettes, french toast and pancakes, while at lunch hot and cold sandwiches, salads and appetizers are offered. Reservations are recommended for dinner and the menu is filled with steak, seafood and pasta entrees.
Tony Roma's is a well-known restaurant chain that serves baby back ribs, steaks, slow-roasted BBQ chicken and so much more. The restaurant is located in the Mount Royal Hotel and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. The lounge is open daily from noon to 10pm and offers a full menu. Three large screen TVs are found in the lounge that show the latest sporting events.
Saltlik is a stylishly casual steakhouse boasting black angus and AAA steaks done in a infrared oven. Other succulent menu items include chicken, pasta and seafood. The open-to-view wine cellar touts more than 100 quality selections, and an impressive variety of beer and spirits are also offered.
Located in the Rimrock Resort Hotel, the Primrose Dining Room offers a wide range of dishes, including steak, seafood and wild game. Every morning guests can choose to dine off the breakfast buffet where chefs cook-to-order eggs and omlettes, or opt for a la carte selections.
Melissa's Restaurant and Bar is set in a landmark 1928 log building and offers a mouth-watering menu of Canadian favourites. AAA Alberta steaks are the main event, but diners can also enjoy tempting dishes such as Melissa's Canadian mountain stew, chicken cordon bleu, British Columbian salmon, pork tenderloin medallions, pasta and Canadian lobster tail. Also serving a great breakfast menu, the restaurant is open daily from 7am.
Bumper's has been serving Banff visitors and residents since 1975. Blending old west and mountain charm, this locally owned family restaurant is known for its excellent Alberta beef prime rib roasts, steaks and all-you-can-eat salad bar. The loft lounge overlooks the dining room and features nightly drink specials, local memorabilia, pub games and satellite TV.
