The Red Earth Creek trailhead is located 20 km (12.5 mi) west of Banff on Highway 1. This trail leads guests 14 km (9 mi) to Brewster's Shadow Lake Lodge by foot, mountain bike or cross-country skis. The lodge has 12 log cabins, a historic day lodge, a dining cabin and a heated washroom building. Gourmet mountain meals are available.
