Roy Andersen has been a commercial photographer for more than 20 years, focusing on the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the prairie landscape and the American Southwest. He offers a number of photography workshops throughout the year in Banff National Park. The workshops range from three to four days and some of the workshops include accommodation and meals.
The Red Earth Creek trailhead is located 20 km (12.5 mi) west of Banff on Highway 1. This trail leads guests 14 km (9 mi) to Brewster's Shadow Lake Lodge by foot or cross-country skis. The lodge has 12 log cabins, a historic day lodge, a dining cabin and a heated washroom building. Gourmet mountain meals are available.
